But what if there was an easier way: a way that didn’t require any money or manual labor? Something the average American could easily do in their spare time?
“There is,” says Preston Ely, author of the brand new book, How To Get Rich In Real Estate: Quit Your Job, Be Your Own Boss, Live The Dream. “I call it ‘Stress-Free Flipping’ …”
“Why leave the comfort of your own home or spend any money when you don’t have to?”
This week, Preston is giving away 5,000 copies of his brand new, tell-all book for free. Needless to say, they’re expected to go very quickly.
”I wrote this book to pay it forward and teach the American people how to win too. I want to teach you and your loved ones how to get to rich in real estate, and not just stop there, but go on to even bigger and better things in life.”
We caught up with the author in his Florida waterfront mansion for an exclusive interview. We were pleased to find the success hadn’t gone to his head. He had quite the sense of humor.
FFR: Alright Mr. Preston, what’s your story? Give us the scoop.
Preston: Well I was raised with a rusty spoon in my mouth (as opposed to silver), barely graduated high school, never went to college, and just weaseled my way into the rat race in a sales career.
Like most people I spent more than I made and ended up bankrupt, foreclosed on, both my cars repossessed, and I think they took my wife as well because she disappeared around the same time.
FFR: [laughing] And how did you recover from that? How did that lead to your success in real estate?
Preston: Two words: God and real estate. That may be three words. Whatever – this was the defining moment in my life.
It brought me back to my roots in the church and inspired me to start taking the issue of finances seriously. I knew that real estate was how most people became millionaires so I just determined to figure the game out. I bought every course there was, read every book, went to all the seminars, worked with mentors, even made a bunch of offers on houses, and it was all great … except for one thing …
I still hadn’t made a dime in real estate.
So here’s what I did … really I had absolutely no idea what I was doing. But I just started taking action and getting creative. And without even knowing what I was doing I somehow managed to figure out how to do this thing I now call ‘Stress-Free Flipping.’ It’s like the house flipping shows you see on TV except you never have to leave your house, see the properties, or do any actual manual labor.
FFR: Can you give us an example of one of these transactions?
Preston: Well I won’t spoil the surprise, but you simply find sellers of discounted houses (they’re everywhere believe me; my book tells you exactly where to find ’em), connect them to people crazy enough to give themselves ulcers rehabbing them, and charge a fee for the introduction. Simple as that.
You would be amazed what people are willing to pay for these connections.
By ‘stress-free flipping’ I was able to quit my job, replace my entire years income shortly thereafter, get rich, and now working is completely optional for me.
Listen, if your readers happen to be struggling to make ends meet … having stress because of money … questioning their career or their direction in life … I know exactly what that feels like. Don’t think I don’t. I’ve been there. It sucks. The sleepless nights, the endless worrying, the constant frowning, utility bills getting turned off (I had my electricity turned off NINE TIMES), living week to week, I get it. But the good news is I can put them out of their freaking misery!!
FFR: How can you do that?
Preston: I just released a brand new book called How To Get Rich In Real Estate: Quit Your Job, Be Your Own Boss, Live The Dream. It explains step-by-step exactly what to do from start to finish.
You know, one of the things that frustrated me getting started was all the real estate books I’d read at the bookstore. They are long, boring, complicated, confusing, and impracticable. They’re packed full of useless fluff just for the sake of making the book look big so they can charge you $20.
And the WORST part? I’d get to the end of every single one of them and say the same thing … “Okay, but what do I DO? Like … right now. Right this second. What do I DO FIRST?” Apparently the authors didn’t think you actually being successful was very important.
My book, on the other hand, is short, to the point, fun to read, simple, easy to understand and AWESOME.
FFR: What do you say to the person reading this that says “that sounds too good to be true. If it’s that easy why isn’t everyone doing it?”
Preston: I say “Stop thinking so much and start taking action. I also say they aren’t doing it because they don’t know about it. But they will soon. My advice would be to get started today.
